Mrs Christine Gawith

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.  This means that she can offer counselling to people in relation to mental health concerns such as depression and anxiety.

Christine has a real love of working with people and helping them work through their problems.

Having had experience working in the area of Community Mental Health in the Public system, she has had the opportunity to work with dedicated Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, General Practitioners and others.

Combined with her past professional experience of being both a teacher and a police-woman, Christine brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this area.  Christine can be trusted to offer confidential, caring and professional help to her clients.

Christine is highly trained in many fields and has obtained a Masters of Social Work from Monash University, Caulfield.

Christine has numerous life experiences and qualifications which puts her in the position to be able to offer down to earth, honest and helpful solutions to most people’s problems. Some of the other careers that Christine has worked in include being a Primary School Teacher, a Police-woman, retail, hospitality and as a Self Improvement Consultant.

Having worked in many areas where she has witnessed the sadness and negativity life can bring, Christine decided she wanted to be more pro-active in her approach and become more positive by adopting positive psychology and skills that are evidence based to help people move forward in their life and experience the happiness and peace that they are searching for.
